In August 2001 my wife and I moved into a garden apartment in downtown Hoboken NJ. The previous tenant, a friend of ours, Christopher Noble had built this garden in the backyard, with a koi pond, which we became caretakers of. I started painting soon after we settled in combining Digital Photography, Photoshop and traditional painting skills, I came up with these large koi paintings which I started selling at exhibitions.
